“I was three. My mom put me in dance before I was in preschool. I love it and I [didn't] stop dancing until I retired [in 2019] as a coach. I was in ballet and jazz and tap. Then, I was in an African dance troupe from elementary school until high school, [where] I was on the Pomerettes dance team with the marching band.”
