Dr. Joseph loves pampering herself by getting her nails done and getting pedicures. She also enjoys research projects that bring black girls together and allows them to have fun while also learning about Math

Joseph shares her compelling math story and how at a young age attending a predominantly white school, she was looked over, and not even allowed to answer questions she knew the answer to. She shares how her mother was watching the whole time and became an advocate for her at a young age, which inspired her to advocate for kids just like her in her career. She discusses her PhD research and why she choose to focus on specifically on black girls.
